I was watching Paul Hopwood's video on you tube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BxcBYt24-g and was thinking it would be awesome if Judge Jules BBC Radio 1 show could be webcasted each week so people can both listen and watch Judge Jules's show.

It wouldn't cost to much either all you need is a webcam maybe two and use websites like selfcast to broadcast the video stream on.

Maybe a monthly video diary ... or just set up a video camera on a tri-pod in the corner of the Radio 1 studio and you're sorted guv'

Like the idea man, top thinking.

Why?
If you wanna know what he's doing, listen to his show, or go out clubbing.
If he does a video diary on here, ppl will just come on MOANING about how he coulda done it better, drank his coffee in a more anally retentive fashion!!

Go and watch PvD do a monthly mix for ya, a radio show, DJ regularly in the UK for his fans, charge extortionate ticket prices if that's what you like!!

Oh yeah, he only does the latter, nevermind then eh!

I assume that you mean purly for Radio 1 or would you like to hear more from the good man in another environment. Like what he has been up to over the last month etc??? Like a mini interview/diary from time to time?

The webcast, I thought might enhanced the experience of listening to Judge Jules Show on BBC Radio 1.

As then you have a audio & vision experience. It would be great as well when Jules Invites his guest dj to co hosting the show.

It would have to be the BBC that did the webcast due to their strict policy on it's djs being filmed.

However, each studio does have two webcams in each and I know that the BBC has net streaming software.

To be honest, i'm sure that given the technology they have at their disposal, if a weekly webcast was something the BBC thought was viable, they'd already be doing it.

Lee Haslam has started doing video tour diaries when he travels about for Slinky events, this could be something for Jules to try too. A simple camera at arms length job and its sorted
