Hey guys,

Check out this master stroke from dance master Darren Tate (DT8 Project), showing a new side to his talents! Check out these awesome video’s of an Orchestra performing his next two singles!! He’s solely composed and produced both these tracks.

"Somewhere In Time" - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=93UYQOgmK2E
"Dark Skies" - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0vuW5AvmYKI

Thoughts?

Is this the actualy Darren Tate we know and love who has done these? ... or just somebody with the same name. It does actually seem like quite a strange jump between DJ/Producer to Composer for me, even though the orchestra sound can be found in our music.

Pretty good tunes though, they would make good intros to mix sets.

i always thought he worked in classical music before he started producing dance music... i thought it was Jules under the Angelic guise that got him into the whole dance scene?

That does seem to make sense Mr Flowtation. Classical does have its influences on Dance music, so Darren Tate probably did do Classical first, and hes focusing on it more again. When you think about it, his classical side does shine through in some of his dance tunes ('Hold Me 'til The End').
