My partner Paul was chatting with a friend at work. He said he would love to hear Jules do a Dance remix of "Ace of spades".

I thought the sound of that was a very interesting concept. If you know of anyone out there, that has done a dance remix of the ace of spades please let me know as I would be very interested.

For me, remixing other genres is a 50/50 thing. I can never put myself on one side or the other in the debate but I myself have remixed such things before. One of my first tracks was a remix of 'Feeder - Lost and Found' and it was actually pretty good if I say so myself lol. Only gay thing was that it wasnt put together as well as I can do know so its a bit glitchy.

If there are no remixes of 'Ace of Spades' then I suggest somebody hops to it immediately, its an open window to a room that has possibly got many treasures inside.

Dunno about that ace of spades one, some tunes are too good to be interfered without making you wanna puke. I do love to hear a dance version of some class tunes though, usually though I prefer synth style tunes that are just jazzed up a bit. I also like to hear different artists doing their own takes on quality tunes, not McFly, I mean good artists doing their own fave tunes etc.

My fave thing tho, cheesy as it can be is Bootlegs, mixing my fave tunes together. Can't help it, just love it.

I know what you mean about remixes. Cascada did a remix of pinks Just like a Pill. That made me cry. I think she killed the song along with her remix of Sk8ter boy. The sad thing nowerdays is that a lot of artists do so many covers.

We have also had a few of the classics re-released this year like Tocca's Miricle. Wonder if or when some of the real classics from the 90's like rhythm is a dance will make a comback?

People that can pull off great re-mixes I think have a special gift. But some of the more outrageous ones like the Ace of Spades, it is quite interesting seeing how they go about doing it. It is uncomparable to the classic as it would be a totally different style of music if a dance version was to ever be released.

Sometimes tho, when ya clubbing you hear a tune that's had a dance makeover and it sounds so fantastic, thru the large sound system, in the midst of the atmosphere, then when you manage to get hold of it for yourself it's not quite so good as you remembered.

Once a while ago I was out clubbing waiting for Julesy to come on and the resident played the dance version of eurythmics sweet dreams, it sounded so loud and cool and also took me back to liking the original tune, then when Jules came on he played the dance remix of funky cold medina(spell check) I went home thinking they were the greatest two tunes I'd ever heard in my life!!!!!! But really they were probably just the two I could remember,(they have that nostalgia feel):) coz altho I like them, they aint as good as I thought!!

YOU CAN'T BEAT A RE-RELEASED CLASSIC THO!!!!!!!! With a little touch up, my dream night out would be touched up classics and bootlegs!!!!:D
