This is a mix I have done as a demo for what will hopefully become a radio station in my local town of Sleaford I have decided to use this as my mix for September since the only other mix that I am compiling is for a night I shall be hosting shortly (so I don't want that to be out in the open to ruin the night!).

The demo is in 2 sections, the first few tracks being aimed at a more general audience and the following tracks being more towards what I would play to a live crowd. Because Sleaford is not exactly deep in the dance/trance scene ... the tracks arent exactly brand spanking new, I just used what I felt sound best to make an impression.

Intro - Mr Sam vs Human Resource - Dominator (Re-Ward Remix)
1. Coldplay vs Sander Van Doorn - Pura Violeta (Xijaro Bootleg)
2. Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Waiting For (Genix Remix)
3. Judge Jules and BK - Sickness
4. Markus Schulz ft Dauby - Perfect
5. Vengeance - Temptation (Denga and Manus Remix)
6. Simon Patterson - Smack
7. Menno De Jong - Spirit (Paul Miller 2008 Rework)
8. Bissen - Quicksand (Joint Operations Centre Remix)
9. Simon Ross - Sex in a Bulgarian Disco (Bootleg)
10. The Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up (Richard Durand Remix)

Feedback is greatly appreciated on this because it has not actually been sent out to the people involved in setting up the radio station. They know about me, they are just waiting on a demo ... but of course it will be no good until I get my microphone recording issue solved.

To make it short: I would be happy, if there would be a radio station in my town that would play such mixes :)

Nice work!

I would have appreciated it if you asked for my permission before stating that. These things should be discussed privately before announcing to the public. You could shed some more information about the matter too.

Do you think they will?
It is a good mix I have to say I'm not all the way thru yet, but it's certainly worth airing.

Oh yeah i realise what ya saying, but IT IS A BLOODY GOOD MIX INNIT?!:D

I doubt I will get the credit I deserve for this. I have been listening to the station for some time tonight and have heard no talking at all. The listeners will instantly assume the mix was done by the station itself ... and it will be an extremely serious issue arising.

Thank you for your immediate co-operation.

When I have worked with radio stations in the past, such business is done in private and out of public view. The problem that arose from this thread is by the fact that you decided to play the mix rather than me, the DJ.

I would like to retaliate on a point made, however. You question the fact of the mix being uplaoded for everyone to hear. Yes, this is true. DJ's such as myself upload mixes that they have made to share their love of music and also to show their talent/skills to the world.

This does fall back on my previous point (in this particular post) though and that if a radio station liked what they had heard from the mix (just as you had) then something should be arranged privately rather than saying 'we will air this tonight'. It gives the impression 'we will air this ... whether you like it or not!'

After all of this I am more satisfied that you did not play the mix, but I do hope this does not barrier future opportunities :)

That are your words but we don't play mixes of DJ'S before we have listen to it but again its a good mix i dont see any problem when people download my mix because al my mixes are broadcasting on the radio stream so people can also recording it!
